We are aware that most people hate the thought of unplugging all the wires from the back of a PC to take it to a shop, then collect it after a repair and face the daunting task of figuring out which cable came from where!

As an alternative, we offer on-site maintenance.  Just pick up the phone, arrange a day and time and we will come to you.  If we cannot fix it on site, WE will do all the disconnecting, WE will take it away, WE will bring it back and WE will re-connect everything for you.

Our standard hourly rate is £45.00 per hour (we offer lower rates for contract customers as set out below). 

We DO NOT aim to offer the lowest hourly rate around, we aim to offer VALUE FOR MONEY.  You may find a company that will charge you £25 per hour, but if it takes an in-experienced engineer 2 hours to complete a job that an experienced engineer from Whiteside Computer's would complete in 1 hour, £25 per hour is not such good value for money!

Some customers expect us to drop everything and rush to their aid the minute they call!  If this is the kind of service you require then you can have it.  Simply take out an annual maintenance contract and you can be assured of a speedy service whenever you have a problem.

Non Contract

• Emergency call-out charge - £45.00
• Hourly Rate - £45.00 per hour travelling & time on site
• No telephone support, all problems dealt with by site visit.
• No preferential treatment, Breakdowns dealt with on a first come, first served basis

Bronze Contract - £500.00 per annum

• No Emergency call-out charge
• Hourly Rate - £40.00 per on site - £40.00 per hour travelling to and from site
• Limited telephone support
• Same day (8 working hour) response in the event of a breakdown
• 1 Visit per year for general preventative maintenance included

Silver Contract - £750.00 per annum

• No Emergency call-out charge
• Hourly Rate - £40.00 per hour on site (Travelling time charged one way only)
• Same day (8 working hour) response in the event of a breakdown
• Unlimited telephone support
• 2 Visits per year for general preventative maintenance included
• Remote server management with monthly checks of server status, error logs, etc

Gold Contract - £1000.00 per annum

• No Emergency call-out charge
• Hourly Rate - £40.00 per hour for on site (No travelling time charges)
• Same day (8 working hour) response in the event of a breakdown
• Unlimited telephone support
• Emergency out of hours contact number
• 4 Visits per year for general preventative maintenance included
• Remote server management with weekly checks of server status, error logs, etc
  

The remote server management will reduce site visits as many tasks can be performed remotely using our remote management software. This service can also be extended to each individual desktop PC if required at an additional cost. Costs for this are dependant on the number of machines requiring the service.

All contract charges are payable annually in advance from January to December.
